IN AN EMERGENCY you can repair a high heel that has lost its tip by pressing a drawing pin into the heel. This will prevent it from getting further damaged till you can get to a cobbler. Be sure to scrape the head of the pin on sandpaper or a cement floor to prevent slipping and falling.
