• Make sure Message translation is enabled. See below.

• Click Translate message to: English right above the message's body.

Change the Message Translation Target Language

To change the language Gmail will consider your native:-

• Follow the Settings link in Gmail.
• Go to the General tab.
• Choose the desired language under Default translation language:.
• Click Save Changes.

Enable Message Translations in Gmail

To turn on inline Gmail email translations:-

• Follow the Settings link in Gmail.
• Go to the Labs tab.
• Make sure Enable is selected for Message translation.
