Use an Abstract Index
An abstract index functions like a periodical guide, only it summarizes information in the article (referred to as an abstract). You can also use these collections to not only find relevant articles but also read a summary (rather than track them down in the library) to see whether they are worth reviewing. You can find these indexes in your library. a particular topic. (See the “Using Internet Resources” section for more information.) Web site information is usually current, and searching the Internet is fast and convenient. You don’t have to worry about someone else checking out the resource you need.
