Be Careful When Treating Stains

BE CAREFUL WHEN TREATING STAINS on synthetics, coloured clothes or very expensive fabrics. Hydrogen peroxide, lemon, tomato juice, curds, methylated spirit and long immersion in milk, all have a bleaching effect on colours so they should be used very cautiously. In such cases it might be wiser to have the marks removed or lessened by dry cleaners who are specialists in stain removal.
