Cure your slice with this Driver golf swing tipAdded on:7/1/2008 6:59:57 PM In Golf Tips Rated by 1 users
Golf Driving Tips
Keep your front shoulder down. When I say down, I don’t mean lower then your trailing shoulder in terms of height from the ground, what I mean is facing down at the ball. If your front should comes up before you make impact with the ball that is changing the angle that your club is making impact with the golf ball. By lifting that front should the club face of your golf driver is coming from the outside in on the ball. This will cause the ball to slice because of the shape and spin that’s put on the ball after impact.
To correct this
To correct this motion during your driver golf swing you need to keep your front should facing downwards. This might seem awkward at first, but it ensures that the rest of your body doesn’t come through your golf swing before the club does.
We all take our back swing, and everything is usually fine it’s at that point when we’re about to come to our down swing and we visualize sending that ball 250 yards out straight not giving any thought to let’s not slice this shot. Another smart driver golf swing tip is to concentrate on minimum slice rather then maximum distance.
