Tips to limit weight gains

How do you limit weight gains?  Very simple, you put down the fork once in a while.  This is something that no one wants to hear.  But in order for you to limit weight gains, you need to watch what you eat.  And this does not mean simply watching it go into your mouth.

To limit weight gains, eliminate the following foods from your diet:

1. Fast foods, such as burgers and pizza - they are high in fat, calories, carbohydrates and sodium and add little if any, nutritional value.

2. Cakes, cookies candy and other sweets.  Empty calories.  No nutritional value.  

3. Fried foods.  Too much fat that you do not need.

4. Soda.  Loaded with sugar - liquid candy.  No nutritional value.


Do eat plenty of vegetables and take a multi vitamin.  It is also important to consume protein when dieting as it gives you energy.  Many diets fail because people get too weak, or sick, to continue.  This is usually from a lack of protein.  Consuming proteins, such as broiled chicken, fish and hard boiled eggs is not only healthy but will give you more energy plus nutrition, than a candy bar.


Limit weight gains by eating a healthy diet and getting plenty of exercise.  Cut your calorie intake in accordance with calorie counters that are online or can be purchased at the store.  Be mindful of what you eat and make sure that you continue with your exercise routine.


Above all, if you fall off the wagon and binge, do not give up the diet.  Simply forgive yourself for failing and keep trying.
