Travelling by train can be simply delightful or boring, depending upon the kind of trip you are undertaking and your copassengers. If you are on a pleasure trip, there is nothing like train travel — the beautiful scenery outside is bound to put you in a holiday mood immediately. But if it's a business trip, the lengthy journey can prove to be quite boring. The best way to lighten up is by looking around, befriending your neighbours and inculcating a joyous mood, free from all tensions. Or if you prefer, read a book or magazine on the journey. Since there is no checking on trains, you can reach the station even at the last minute. But to be on the safe side, it is better to reach there at least half an hour before the scheduled time. Because you will have to first find the platform, then the coach and finally your berth. Once seated, don't assume the whole coupe is yours. There are others also occupying the same coupe, so keep your belongings in one corner instead of scattering them all over the place. Train travel brings a cross-section of people together for a long period of time. So it is necessary to be considerate to others.
